Autorijles automaat

Rijles volgen in een automatische auto is ook een mogelijkheid. Hierdoor hoef je dus zelf niet meer te schakelen en zit er ook geen koppeling in de auto. 

Al je lessen volg je dan in dezelfde auto, gevolgd door het examen. Als je voor je examen geslaagd bent, krijg je je rijbewijs B met de code 78 erop. Hiermee kan je met automatische auto's de weg op. 

Wil je overstappen naar een schakelauto, dan moet je weer opnieuw praktijk-examen doen. Een theorie-examen is niet nodig.

Automatic driving lessons

It is a possibility to get your driving license with an automatic car. This is called code 78 on your drivers license, which means an automobile with an automatic transmission that doesn't require a driver to shift gears manually.

There are a couple of advantages of driving an automatic car, most importantly that they are easier to learn to drive. There are less obstacles to overcome compared with manual transmission cars.
